Born in Ohio in 2004, Joan Heckman grew up all over the American Midwest.

All of her art is about politics, gender, identity, and cool, uncontroversial stuff like that.

She likes horror movies, music, and making breakfast way too late in the day.

She's worked as a deliveryperson, a barista, a baker, and a bunch of other dumb stuff that isn't making art. Ideally in the future she can make her weird, esoteric nonsense art full time, which would be super cool and fun.
